The charger cable is 39.4 inches (100 cm) in length, providing ample reach. It has an indicator light that changes color to signify the charging status: green for a full battery, and red for charging.The charger automatically stops charging when the battery is fully charged.
The maximum operating temperature of the charger is 40°C (104°F). The charger's casing is made of high-quality plastic, ensuring a smooth appearance and no impurities. The charger is compatible with two different connector types: DC5.5 x 2.1mm and DC5.5 x 2.5mm.
The LED indicator on the charger turns red when it is in operation. During use, the charger may become slightly warm, and it is recommended to place two small blocks underneath it to facilitate better heat dissipation.
The charger is designed to automatically detect when the battery is fully charged, provided that the battery has a Battery Management System (BMS) installed. Once the battery is fully charged, the charger will automatically shut off.
This charger is suitable for use with the Swagtron EB7, Hyper e-city 700c e-bike (36V, 250W rear hub), Swagtron EB5, and Meepo skateboards. It is specifically designed for lithium-ion batteries and should not be used with LiFePO4 batteries, as it may cause the charger to overheat.
To use the charger, follow these steps: 1. Charge the battery in a dry environment. 2. Do not leave the power supply connected when the charger is not in use. 3. Avoid overcharging the battery. Disconnect the charger when the indicator light turns green, indicating a full charge. 4. Charge the battery before it is fully drained to 0% to protect the battery. 5. If the battery has not been used for an extended period (2-3 months), charge it before use to ensure it is not damaged. 6. Maintain a balance between shallow and deep discharges, with a deep discharge every 3 months to activate the battery's long-term immobile material. 7. Confirm the battery type and ensure the charger is compatible with lithium-ion batteries, not LiFePO4. 8. Connect the battery to the charger cable first, then connect the charger to the AC power. Disconnect the power before unplugging the battery, especially when the charging current is high (indicated by a red LED).
